Rachel Zerbe and Blake Froling had their breakdown of the Elite Eight, including their questioning of Florida State’s end-of-game strategy against Michigan. They also try to determine what Miles Bridges’ legacy will be at Michigan State when he leaves for the NBA. Rachel and Blake also look at the startling contrast in the number of draft picks the Packers and Lions have, and if Detroit is destined for another mediocre season. Finally, the two give the highlights from the Greek Freak’s “60 Minutes” interview.

Seth Wells can see into the future

March 23 – Apparently, Seth Wells can see into the future.

Back in November on the SportsPen college basketball preview show, Seth, a noted Michigan fan and TV6 sports reporter, was confident in his Wolverines. Despite the lack of optimism from national experts, he made a bold prediction: Michigan would make the Elite 8.

Turns out, he was right. Here’s the audio of the hot take:

March 9 – Pandemonium swept through the Negaunee gym on Friday night.

Bill Sall talks about Holmgren, Wonders

March 20 – Northern Michigan University men’s basketball coach Bill Sall talked about the young players in his program and the ones about to join his program.

Hart Holmgren is a senior at Ishpeming High School who averaged 21.6 points per game and 6.1 rebounds.

Carson Wonders starred at Iron Mountain High School and redshirted this season for NMU.
